What We Do

Field observations become tests of ancient climate and sea level.

We move between field sites, samples, geochemistry, statistics, and models to test how Earth system change is recorded in sedimentary archives.

01 Reconstruct past shorelines. Fossil reefs and coastal markers constrain ice-sheet behavior. 02 Read sedimentary archives. Facies, transport, and age uncertainty shape preserved signals. 03 Test geochemical records. Carbonate chemistry is interpreted with local context in view. 04 Build quantitative methods. Bayesian inference and models connect evidence to hypotheses.
