Each value belongs to one GPS row; it is not a single elevation for the site. The CSV distinguishes local-datum height from receiver altitude.

Manifest

The map’s DEM layer is a hillshade visualization. These links provide the source elevation raster and orthophoto as GeoTIFFs for local analysis. The DEM uses the island-specific datum.

Field notes

Based on the 1 June 2026 Mangaia field notes and calibrated survey photographs. A shows ridge-and-channel relief. Field notes describe branching framework on ridges and coral growth along channels, but exact fabrics, species, growth position and sample identities are not established at this presentation target. “Deeper-water feel” is an interpretation, not measured paleodepth. No geological age or sea-level elevation is assigned. The low and high flights share only one valid natural tie track; five shared pinned GCPs agree within 3.4–9.4 cm when triangulated separately. Larger unpinned GCP4 offsets of 5–7 pixels remain unedited. Matched photographs and six surface sections showed no broad duplicated ground in the reviewed main exposure; this is not a whole-site accuracy certification. Vegetation and moving water remain uncertain. Gray cut walls, backing and reveal are artificial presentation geometry. Original source geometry, UVs and nine diffuse plus nine normal 8K maps are preserved.
