Each value belongs to one GPS row; it is not a single elevation for the site. The CSV distinguishes local-datum height from receiver altitude.

Manifest

The map’s DEM layer is a hillshade visualization. These links provide the source elevation raster and orthophoto as GeoTIFFs for local analysis. The DEM uses the island-specific datum.

HS112: Karanganui

Explore the Karanganui cliff from one close, low-oblique viewpoint with an approximate local relief measurement.

Field notes

Selected C shows the steep front cliff face and basal recess. The bare rock rim and matching fixed-rock toe give 5.65 m vertical separation, displayed as approximately 6 m local cliff relief with rough uncertainty about ±1 m. This is not a sea-level elevation or maximum landward terrace height. Rounded rim, shadowed toe, vegetation, shallow water, loose blocks and unresolved control/sample issues limit interpretation. Camera 137 visibly contains both selected endpoints. The original and repaired projects, calibration, pinned controls, geometry, UVs and twelve repaired 8K maps remain preserved. Gray cut sides and backing are artificial presentation surfaces. No age, coral taxon, growth position or sample identity is assigned.
